The VanGervens - Fall Mini Session

What a sweet family this is! Most of my clients are families with young kids, which I love, but it's also a breath of fresh air to work with older kids, who look at the camera and smile on their own. Haha! I love that they make family photos such a priority each year as well. Parents are often so careful to get pictures of their young children, but many don't prioritize it as much in the teen years, and I really think those photos will be just as treasured as the cute toddler ones. I also loved getting to spend time with the VanGerven clan after our session, too. It's a bizarre thing to see kids you remember as newborns interacting with your own children, and Grace and Kees are both naturals around little ones. My kids kept asking when they could come back over to play! Haha! Their kind hearts radiate in all they do, and I think you can even see it in these pictures.
