Oh what a difference a year makes! Last year, adorable little Lily was only four months old, so she didn't have a choice but to stay put when I posed her on a blanket. But in a year's time, she has grown into an inquisitive, adventurous toddler, who wanted to spend the session roaming around and exploring everything from leaves to walnuts. I happen to love that phase of toddlerhood, so I enjoyed following her around and snapping shots to capture the wonder of life through the eyes of a little one.
And for all the things that have changed in a year, a couple things have stayed the same. Lily was still full of sweet smiles, and her parents' love for each other and for her was still just as apparent as it was a year ago. It's always such a joy to photograph this lovely family!
