The Schartz Ladies - Mommy and Me Session

For the past two years on Mother's Day, I've done a mommy and me mini-session giveaway through social media; to enter, people have to comment on a post by tagging a mom friend and telling her one specific thing they admire about her. It has been wonderful to see mamas building each other up with such heartfelt encouragement each time, and then it's even more fun to draw the name of one of those moms a do a session with her and her little one(s). I was so thrilled when I drew Kate's name, not only because she's an AMAZING mama to two sweet little girls, but also because I love capturing memories for families in stages of transition, and Kate is expecting her third baby this fall! It was such a treat to spend a little time with Kate and her precious girls, who will be incredible big sisters to this sweet babe on the way.
