This lovely couple. Their beautiful venues. A warm, sunny day in February. What a dream!
Ben and Sadie's wedding day was a joy to photograph from start to finish. But it wasn't the weather or the venues that made it so wonderful. Throughout the day, I was just so blown away by the abundance of love, not only between Sadie and Ben, but among everyone who came to celebrate with them. At every turn, I saw love fill the four corners of my camera frame--sisters prepping the bride for her big day, a mother buttoning her daughter into her gorgeous wedding dress, a college roommate watching with tears in her eyes, a father seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time, a mother lovingly adjusting her son's tie, a father giving his son an "I'm proud of you" fist bump, the bride and groom spying their first glimpses of each other from opposite ends of the aisle, a united family bowed reverently in earnest prayer, a pastor sharing God's perfect design for marriage, a blissful bride and groom united in a covenant, sincere delight and well wishes from friends and family, a glass raised to toast the happy couple, a celebratory dance party (in which the groom quite literally jumps for joy...you'll see the picture), a cheerful farewell, and an intimate portrait session full of the sweetest looks and exchanges between the bride and groom.
Ben and Sadie, thank you for the great honor of witnessing and capturing these precious moments throughout your day. I hope these images serve as reminders of the love that encompasses you for years to come.
