Mark and Krissy - Wedding

Krissy and Mark, aside from being a super sweet couple, are some of the most creative people I have ever met. I was blown away by all the personal touches they put into their wedding! They got married at Hollins University, and as we drove to a spot on campus with gorgeous mountain views, I told them how amazed I was by their originality, and I loved their response. They basically said, "We know who we are...what we like and what we don't like. We knew we didn't want our wedding to be like every other wedding; we wanted to do things that represented us." And they SO succeeded! From the adorable vintage dress and handmade paper flower bouquets to the board game centerpieces and origami escort cards, their personalities were infused into every single detail, and it made for such a fun experience for everyone.

Krissy and Mark, thank you so much for allowing me the privilege of capturing the special moments and details of the very first day of your marriage; I wish you both many more days of love, joy, and DIY projects ;)
